Buys Deprecation

KOMOJU Buys is now deprecated and will soon be retired in favor of Payment Links, which provide similar functionality but with a modern, user-friendly UI and more features (such as Custom Fields, Attachments, Subscriptions etc.). You can find more information about Payment Links here.

Upon Buys retirement date (we will update this page once this date has been decided), the following migration will happen automatically:

• Any active KOMOJU Buys (defined as Buys that were created within 1 year, or who had at least one payment within the last year) will be automatically migrated to Payment Links, with the same settings (such as address collection).
• Active KOMOJU Buys links (URLs) and embedded buttons will still function, but bring end users to the new Payment Links payment interface instead.
• Access to your KOMOJU Buys will be restricted (you will no longer be able to view, edit, or create new Buys). To make any changes (such as disabling the Payment Link or changing its name or description), you will need to amend the newly automatically created Payment Link instead. And instead of creating a new KOMOJU Buy, you will need to create a new Payment Link instead.

Important note: while more full-featured and intuitive than KOMOJU Buys, Payment Links don't support inventory management yet, so you will be unable to set a quantity of products available, nor will end users be able to select a number of products they wish to purchase. You may therefore need to be more proactive about disabling Payment Links when your stock becomes limited.
